I have decided to start swapping out the typewriter I keep on the side of my desk for notes and thoughts over the course of my workday.

This week, the Smith Corona Galaxie Deluxe is up:

I think this one is from ~1966, but the label with the serial number is in pretty rough shape. I rescued this typewriter from the curb while out for a run in my neighborhood last year, and it has turned out to be one of my favorite machines to use.

It is also the only typewriter I have that has a black/red ribbon in it, which I always forget about and hardly even think to use.
