So for like twenty years now, I have been having to listen to all these warmongering pundits, politicians, and Keyboard Kommandos basically masturbate as they describe this bunker-buster “mother of all bombs” thing. Only the United States has it, only US bombers can carry it (because—you know—it’s just SO BIIIGGG), it’s the only thing that can take out these underground installations, blah blah blah.

And if I understand correctly, we have now demonstrated to the whole world that for all that, it wasn’t enough to do the job and has set back whatever the Iranians were doing by maybe a few months. Furthermore we have done so not based on any imminent threat, but rather because this bunch of grifters and crooks wanted to be able to claim a piece of the action in an illegal war started by another country.
